Everyone Loves Phil!

Ok, so I watch golf, religiously. What of it? I am comfortable with myself.
Anyhoo, these ads with Phil Mickelson are brilliant. I had to include them in AIOF, as this is a fine example of a non-annoying celebrity-based ad campaign. Who doesn't appreciate self-deprecation from the world's second-best golfer?
I found this on YouTube, of course, and it includes all four of the ads. The first being a meeting with Phil Look-alikes. One, the look-alikes are not only scary in their resemblance, but the addition of the Asian guy...sweet.
I also love the look that the "Shrine Guy" gives the "i in Phil fan" after i in Phil calls the shrine weird.
And of course, the best is when Wing Foot comes up. Strangely, whenever I have seen the Wing Foot fans-hit-by-Phil ad, it is always cut off before Faherty says sorry. I like it better without the laughs and the sorry, personally.
So enjoy...it is always nice to see ads that are for more than financial services for the rich white guys that must make up the majority of the PGA viewership.
I am not sure if these ads will steer me towards booking my next business conference at a Crown Plaza, but they do make me like Phil that much better, and wash out the bad taste left over from those Exxon Mobil commercials Phil did.
