This falls into the category of WTF?
You are the guy credited with ending the Cold War, and now you are slinging over-priced, bourgeoisie luggage? How did it come to this? Does Gorbachev need money, exposure, or a brand new bag?
Also, check this out, the magazine open and slightly out of the bag is an article about that Russian spy that was poisoned in London? Huh? Is it to show that even when Gorbachev is doing a photo shoot, he's still staying current with Russian news? I found out the article's title says, "Litvinecko's Murder -- They Wanted to Give Up a Suspect for $7000." Is that some kind of comment that Gorby inserted into this ad? That he got paid to give something up?
Hmm.
And I won't even start about his wistful look at what's left of the Berlin Wall. Is it a look of nostalgia for the days when he didn't have to do advertising to keep Raisa in furs?
