Wal-MArt: This is Awesome...

This is a great spoof on the whole Julie Roehm scandal at Wal-Mart.

Here's a quick rundown on the lawsuit and resulting mess. Julie was hired and then fired by Wal-Mart over the course of ten months. Wal-Mart fired her for taking a "gift" from the ad agency that just got the Big Account, i.e. Wal-Mart.

Julie fought back and then so did Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart supposed brought out the big guns, as in private emails between Julie and a VP. And get this, the VP's wife gave the emails to Wal-Mart.

Hmmm, strange affair--no pun intended! Wal-Mart is a strange company anyway. I can't put a finger on them. Every time I read something good, I read something else that's unflattering. Maybe that's the way it is in the new millennium?????

Following my blog, they have GREAT prices on fishing equipment and about half of my stuff comes from Wally World. They sponsor a professional tour--the FLW--and I'm SURE that's one reason you see so much fishing stuff. On the other hand, they cut their fishing supplies by about 20% this spring but rearranged things until most people don't realize it. Also, they are going severely cut back on sewing supplies. So, if you see that type of thing in your local store, pick it up while you can!
